Louis + Evan Tea Time Wedding

Louis and Evan’s wedding was nothing short of stunning. If I had to choose one thing to characterize the day it would be the infectious laughter. Louis and Evan were so full of joy as you can see in their beaming faces in every photo. Louis and Evan had known each other for years. They both attended Mission Road Bible Church in Kansas City. They both were in the singles ministry. Louis had been praying for Evan for a long time before he finally decided to ask her out. When Evan was asked about how the date went later that week her reply was, “I didn’t know it was possible to want to talk to someone that long!” She said it with the biggest grin you can imagine. It wasn’t long before they got engaged and began planning their wedding day!

Their wedding day was inspired by Evan’s love for all things British. The reception was created from stunning silver and antique china collected from relatives and close friends. Everything was delicately garnished with flowers by Yellow House Flowers, customized napkins, and faux boxwood garden dog centerpieces and a deletable wedding cake created by McLain’s Bakery The wedding team did a fabulous job in creating a feeling of British Tea Time meets wedding.

I went home that night with sore cheeks from all the smiling and a heart full of love.  How could I not? You both are so adorable! It was so encouraging to see that your main goal was to serve. It was your wedding day but you both were concerned for the needs of others. What humility? There were no bridezillas or crazy dramatic events. Just peace and love. Louis ended his big day with mopping the floor in his Tux. If that doesn’t show you how caring and loving these two are I don’t know what does! You both are an inspiration of service and love for others! Thank you friends for choosing us to be your photographers and for letting us share such a special day with you!
